The weather up her in Canada is getting much better, yesterday the temperature was 12C (53F).

Decided it was time for a nice long, dedicated hand wash, was all excited to finally have a clean, shiny LS.

Don't I start washing the car and find the LINCOLN word on the back of the car is missing the "L" and "I" letters, all you read now is "NCOLN". I was all upset I couldn't even concentrate in washing the car properly, I kept going to the back to make sure I wasn't see things.

When I get to the front of the car, the front grill is cracked in 4 different places, it looks like something or someone backed into it.

What a sad day that was, at least the oil change on the car, lawnmower and snowthrower went as smooth as it can get.

Now I have to go to the Stealership and order new parts, it's already bad enough they wanted $186 for one O2 sensor, I wonder how much they want for the "lincoln" word and the front grill....

I have the Lincoln letters for you. I popped them off the back of my totaled car before they took it away.

How much do you want for them, including shipping to Canada??

Just shipping to Canada will be fine. I have no use for them. PM your address and all and I'll try and get them out sometime this week. What carrier do you wanna go through?

I left Randatola a post in his "Best Way to Scrap A LS" thread about you needing a grille...hope he can hook you up bro

sorry to hear about your luck with that, hopefully the guys will come through. I was looking into getting the first big cleaning in of the year as well and last year i did the clay bar for the first time. I showed a friend of mine how to do it, then as soon as he tried it he dropped the bar on the ground. I have lots of detailer left and don't see the need for buying another complete kit for just a clay bar, are you able to just pick up another bar from say a crafts store or something, or does Mothers or Meguiar's do something specific to their bars in the kits? also on the cleaning note, does anyone know why on the gen 2 cup holders, there's an indent on the bottom of the rearmost center console one, i cleaned the inside and that dimple is a pain in the ass to clean.

Did your car have 2 inches of dirt on it hiding the LINCOLN letters all winter? My car gets pretty dirty here in the Minnesota winter, but the badge is still visible to see if something is missing.

If it's easier for him to send them out, or he can send them out earlier, just go through him. I'm pretty busy as of late and I don't wanna keep you waiting.

yeah something similar happened to me decided also to clean the LS noticed some salt chips and the grille chrome has like water or air bubble lines looks awful gonna have to replace it

Hey, I.m looking for COL part of the LINCOLN rear letters, can anyone help me out? Thanks.

That's a great idea removing all the letters.....
The only thing is I like people to know what I'm driving is a Linoln, people have a tendency to say..."you drive a Lincoln?? Isn't that a old folks car??"
Once they see the car they are like...WOW!!!! That's Lincoln??

That is basically why I want the words in the back.
