Hehehe, no really I love Ford styling but I always have problems with them.

Currently my car is "seeking" idle, like a fat kid trying to talk after running. :p

Worse when cold, and improves occasionally to a less embarrassing state. Hardly even noticeable if in drive unless it's really bad.

I have been checking for vacuum leaks past the maf, no codes present, and fan fluid is full (thx search function). Any other clues, I could post vid later if requested.

But I swear everytime this car runs like poo I wanna trade it in, but then I get it running well again TO trade it in. Then, when it runs well I think about how much more money I could save for a down payment and hence a nicer car.

IAC valve or even fresh oil and filter.

I noticed my LS is demanding on oil changes. If I slip up a few extra miles it idles funny. Goes away right after the change. Maybe even try some seafoam in the crank case just before the next change.

You need to switch to Amsoil Full synthetic. I'm coming up on 12k miles since my last change and I've never had any weird idle issues. :p

IAC x2

Funny you guys mention the oil change...

I am on Castrol Synthetic cause of the Mobile one crisis lol, but it was about a week ago when my change oil light came on.

I guess I will change it today. :D

The only way oil is going to affect the idle on this car is if it's seeping into the plug wells.

Lincoln = the odd and picky.

I just dont question its desires anymore..

But yes oil in plug wells, guaranteed! :shifty:
