I had a full car (3 passengers) and just my luck I pull up next to a 96-97 Cobra convertible, looked to be pretty much stock except maybe mufflers. We're at the redlight and I decide to rev up at him to get his attention. We both launch, even for a second, once my tires hooked I dipped out on him. I would say I put 2 cars on him up to 70mph.

I did that to one of the new GTO's when I first got my Mark. I was laughing all about that one.
Oh and the new Stang and Verts are way more in weight than our Marks. I find that even funnier than beating a GTO

Real nice win. I don't what GTO's are else where but the ones I see my mark cannt touch. They seam to to be 12 second cars. I would be real happy to whoop up on one.

I highly doubt it was a 12 sec GTO :shifty: I've seen them pull crap times at E-town and who knows what this one had if anything done to it. All I know is we where both at the light and he inched up as we saw the other lane change to yellow. I launched a bit after him and went right by him

The very first car I raced @ Englishtown was an R32. I know there not fast but at the same time I whooped him so bad it wasn't funny
Heck I know around me there seem to be tons of AMG's so I have to watch what I try to pull on 202 or 22 :shifty:

Mine is a 96' and I weigh well over 200 right now, when I went over the scales at E-town I was 3860 or something in that range. So that would put my car in the 36XX range

I will have an updated weight as of 4/4 when we go to E-town. Problem with it will be that I installed my JL Audio Sub and the speaker itself is over 79 pounds and thats without the box!
Still give it a general idea...
