X pipe + muffler delete

Im getting ready to delete the mufflers and 3rd cat on the 97, curious to know where you guys are getting your x pipes from (best price and what size) or i was thinking about geno, doesnt he have a double x pipe?...i just want a ittle more sound out of it and to lose those heavy rear mufflers as cheap as possible.

any pics of your custom exhaust installs would be sweet.
 
Just grab a Magnaflow one off eBay. NickT and I both found a new 2.5" X for like $25 or so.

I think I might have pics of my exhaust (similar to the Mark VIII) in my gallery if ya wanna look.
 
are you using both for the dual x pipe?

i found them on fleabay for 40 a piece shipped

i might just grab the double x pipe from geno unless i can find a cheaper single x
 
I have an extra x-pipe. The morons that I ordered them from only sent me 1 when I paid for 2. Theres a long story behind it. 50 bucks u can have it. I dont think im going to be needing it anytime soon.
 
This was in Jacksonville NC. Its a Marine Corps town, and like 85% of Marines drive mustangs. Dude had heads, intake manifolds, cams, and a lot of other 5.0 parts for sale. I picked up the X. Never used, still shiny, in the plastic, and in a box marked magnaflow. he wanted 30 but took my offer for 20.

I hate yard sales and didnt want to go, but we were about to have a baby and the boss wanted to find some good deals, so I found one.
