Will they work or not? Moreso for the back. Fronts I could leave 245/35. I wouldn't mind.

I ask because I need new tires for the 19s and would like something a tiny bit wider than the 245/35s I had on there.

I'd say they'd fit out back.

School me wheel gurus.

Should fit with no problems....How much of a drop did you end up with after your springs settled in? I'm running 275's on a 10" rim with a 52mm offset with no problems at stock height and could go an inch lower. I even had 295/30/19's on for a short while. No rubbing but they just didn't look right with the edge of the tire almost out past the wheelwell and I was afraid of cutting a tire under a full load.

tommy, I hate to tell man but there is a search function on here!

LMAO

no seriously, depends on the brand of tire. Some of them say you need a 9" to run 275's, and some say only a 8.5. I know your looking at a smaller tire, but you get the point. I know I was running 275's on a 52mm no problems. With a 46mm offset I dont think a275 will work on a lowered car, but you should be bale to on a stock. 255's i think would be a waste since your losing the ability to rotate the tires for 10mm...... ehhhh. But if you went with a 275 or so I can see the 30mm being worth the money and head aches

+1, it will fit.

But like Sully said, dont forget you are missing out on rotations unless you go with that size on all 4 in the end.

PS! I dont know anyone that recommends a 275 on a 8.5" wide wheel!:p

Thanks, now I know what to stay away from. Those tires must run super small and not true to size.

;)

I admire a man that admits his faults but that still sounds like it runs small.

I was going to get the same wheels as Zintkala but hyper silver from the same guys and they didnt want me to go larger than a 275! And trust me, in the end I found out those guys wanted money!

Just like stretching it can be dangerous and lead to blow outs. Not to mention the lack of overall performance, might get slightly better handling but on tight curves its gunna feel like crap and may turn into a bad situation for the bead of the tire.

You lack in drag also.

Cool, thanks. Kinda thought so, but hey...when you own a Lincoln, you never know.

Gettin' tired of riding on stock chromies!

I say go for it, I got a nice set of tools to make em fit if not :)

Dynamite?

Not to be confused with....
