I am in the middle of wanting to do skiines and meats (finally) on my car.

I do not mind the hub swap and all that but i cannot find a single MN12 or FN10 with the STOCK brakes running 15 inch skinnies up front?

I need to know if they clear our brakes.

Anyone ever see any Marks, Birds or Cats with 15 inch skinnies on a stock front end?

BADA$$$$$$

Driller has some skinnies for his car...I believe he uses the mark 8 aluminum spare wheel

I thought about having a set of snowflakes cut down for skinnies.

our front brakes need the 16 inch wheels to clear, all the MN12s with 15 inch wheels got smaller brakes...............

Yeah Birds and Cats had 15s up front. Guess you'd have to downsize the front brakes.

Guys he talking about a real set of big and littles, not the bargin set...lol.

Run the MN12 rotors with the 99+ mustang PBR calipers. That will actually give you better braking than what you have now, and it will clear 15" wheels.

I have to change the oil on the Mark this weekend. Ill just pop the front studs out and take a front wheel off the TA and seat it on the hub and spin. It looks like it will clear with room to spare.

Heres the exact wheel. The wheel in the wheelie shot is what used to be on it, I now have the Grag Weld Drag Stars.

Im trying to go cheap. I can Bogarts made with our pattern too but too much money. The Greg Welds on my TA were 280.00 shipped with free chrome valve stems and chrome lugs/washers. They are smoking. They look like the Weld Alumastar which is $430.00 each. LOVE the Alumastar but also way too much $$

Just so you know, the SC had the same front brakes as the regular tbird, so 15s would definitely fit on that no problem, and that doesn't necessarily mean they will fit on your Mark.

You havent gone cheap with the rest of the car dont start now. Do the 17 inch skinnies up front and 15s out back or 17s whatever. Like these on the white coupe in this link.

You have a kid on the way, in the middle of building a home theater, a shop, a mortgage, 2 businessess and about 7 hobbies then tell me that! LOL!:D

Im not going cheap at all, these wheels are made incredibly well, they are durable. I know people who run mid 8's and drive it on the street.

Talk about cheap, ALL the rep wheels for the MN12 and FN10's come from china, can't get anymore Walmart then that. My Cragars are made in China.
As well as 88% of the cars wheels in that thread. thanks for the thread BTW. There was some SICK cars in there. My favorite is the ALL black Notch with black rims, baaaddaa$$$$$!

Yeah but look at the spacing on the Coupe pic above. I do not want anything sticking out, thats my biggest pet peeve on a car. I like them tucked where they belong.

IIRC the picture you posted of 89SC ,that car is running 13" Cobra brakes.I've seen few T-birds on Prostars before ,if I'll find any pictures I'll post them here.If you can wait couple weeks ,my brother is doing mustang bolt pattern now on his 98LSC.I have Prostars and BS street lites in my garage so we're going to be test fitting them shortly.
