one of my reverse lights went out and i wanted to take advantage of the situation and get some led ones from superbrightleds.com. the thing is that i do not remember if members said that these would make a light come up on the instrumental panel. is it simply plug and play or do you need to add a resistor? if so i will probably just forget it. i just want to swap out and enjoy rather than doing extra stuff. let me know guys, thanks in advance
here's the pic of the one i will get. couldn't get a link directly to it so i just took a pic of the item

Dude, those look nice! I hope they work. I have big plans for my LS in the next year as far as lighting is concerned. I love the look of the LED license plate lights too.

do you plan on changing everything? i have all the interior lights changed to blue ones, the license plate are also led's from LSK. the dome lights can be a PITA

You will still need a load resistor.
shucks!
Just plug them in and tell us what happens. Take one for the Team, dude! :p

that is what i will do. all my other ones do not have a load resistor and my battery hasn't crapped out yet. i'll post pics

I'd like to see what your blue interior looks like...I was gonna go for turning all the green :q:q:q:q to red.......and get a Lincoln "star" logo between my subs in the back that pulses red like a heartbeat.....

here's a vid. one of my angel lights was out on the vid which i haven't fixed btw, lol. i'm so lazy lately when it comes to my car

sry guys it took me for ever to post the pics. the lights are great and they do stay lit but the same amount of time as the ones in my interior. the are really bright and don't look as blue as they do in the pics, they are white btw. the pics do not look that well because of the POS camera, sry. enjoy

These LEDs look bright when looking at the car, but from a lighting perspective I was very unimpressed with the output when installed in my car. I had the same pair in my car and could not wait to drop some normal bulbs back once I realized how much light output that I had lost behind my car.

Don't get me wrong...they look cool, but they are not very functional for lighting up the rear of the car at night.

i know exactly what you mean. while they are bright they do not really have that light output to compare with the oem bulbs. i still like them but i do wish they lit up the pavement more
