how would that affect the hp and mpg?

and it wasn't be do realize my car was used so maybe the filter was :q:q:q:qty from the last owner...never cleaned....i do know the heatshield it was in looked like it was left in a treehouse for 10years......
 
simple physics for these motors.... mix air and fuel, add spark and let the explosion move pieces of metal till tires spin.


the more air you can let in the better (to a point) and the clogged filter they speak of would inhibit the motors ability to breath in. It would have to work harder and burn richer (more fuel than air) causing worse gas milage and lowered HP

Haha Ya i missunderstood what the guy meant the first time..when I say "plugged" I thought he was just abbreviating "unplugged"......guess clogging didn't cross my mind......there you go....my idiocracy at work :P

im just saying... its ok to not know everything. I dont know how many times I've been on the phone with guys from this site trying to figure crap out

Ya, hell it took me and my buddy about 6-8hrs to put in my magnaflow exhaust, I believe we had it right the first time...but NOOOO Mr. Tundra knows everything :P
And he unds up busting my right passenger window cause he let down the jack too hard, he still owes me 300 bucks for the repair. I'm making him pay me back in ammo. I can't believe how much me and my father got combined, we got about 56000 rounds of ammunition in the shed.
