Electronic humm/buzzing sound from dash

Hi there. I've got this intermittent humming/buzzing sound coming from my dash. It sounds like it's from the center/passenger side, but can't be sure. It's intermittent- sometimes it's there for the whole car ride, sometimes it goes away and comes back. I can't figure out any pattern for it, and I've been waiting for it to get worse/stay on all the time before I took it to the dealer cuz I figure they won't hear anything (car is under warranty).

I think I've tried everything I can to make it stop- have turned off radio, header, heated seats, etc etc, but the sound remains. Anyone have a similar problem?

Could be the stereo cooling fan; it's a rather loud, annoying electronic buzz sound.

Thanks for the tip. I assume this fan is inside the stereo box, and not something that would sit in the dash?
