I just put in the Pioneer Avh5700Dvd Navigation unit in my car. Im need some navigation software to be able to use navigation and was wondering does it take a special kind of software or can i just get any kind of navigation software?

the system you bought DOES NOT HAVE NAVIGATION, it NAVI READY. you still have to buy the navi equiptment from pioneer, thats why it has the RGB input(the connector for the pioneer navi system) and it says voice guidance WHEN CONNECTED. the buttons are there to controll the navi if you get it. if it had navi, it would be a AVIC N series, last time i ordered the navi add on for a customer, it was about $800

Input usually means you have to buy additional equipment FYI.

Ahhh ok will i didn't know that. Thanks anyways for the help. If i was to get a new aftermarket NAvigation system what would be a good choice?
