New Tires

They'll work, but don't plan on getting far in the snow with them. They'll be better than bald worn out tires, but if you want real snow traction you need dedicated snow tires.

The first time I replaced the tires on my '02 LS Sport, I got Pilot Sport All Season Michelins. The next time I put on a set of Verde 18" wheels and Pilot Sport P2s. The P2s are fabulous in the dry and even very good in rain. But they're useless in snow. Since the all season tires weren't worn out, and just setting in the garage, I just put them back on. What a difference. I'm sure that Blizzaks are best, but I'd rather get engine parts!

Bought a set of toyo for 2001 ls. Best $400 I ever spent on tires.
Will not slide in wet pavement.

have to say that this set of tires get around TONS better than the old ones. Went to Sears and bought some salt bags and threw them in the back and yes they are in a huge commercial plastic bag so it wont leak anywhere. But for a light snow area i would say give these a try!
