So there's this guy near me saying he's parting out a 96 mark, i call him to see if he has some parts i need and he says he has my license plate bracket, now the jack ass part......i get there and the car isn't a 96, its a 98 LSC, that medium charcoal green with ivory interior, now i find out the car has 55,000 miles on it and he's ripping it apart because he can get more $$ for it than selling it whole, car was fully loaded even had octastars, which he wanted $1000 for.....i told him to stick em and left before he saw my tears...hahah

yea, i wanted to kick him in the junk and steal it.....prob just like he stole it from someone, why else would you part out a mint 2nd Gen LSC??

Same reason mustang guys get these very nice, very repairable cars and do the same thing...... because they can, and all they are interested in is the money, not the car, or even fixing the car.

Some people just don't deserve to purchase vehicles.

I on the other hand, have been cursed to get attached to every vehicle I own... hence my signature, lol

It's a damn shame for someone to part out a 55 thousand mile car without good reason, and in that color too. +1 on some people should not be able to buy cars. I sure would like to know the bargin basement price he probably paid for it.

I bet he thinks he can make $5000 parting it out....

You used to be able too, back in the day... not anymore.

I need a new shell so bad. That ticks me off. I would love to find a Mark body in great shape just so I can swap my power train over. With my Mark dead I wish I could do that now!

i know, i would of loved to had that car whole!!! I've been hot for a 2nd gen for a while, and have been looking hard, i wonder where he found it? wish i would of beat him to it....it would have a nice home :)

Have you sat in a second gen :D :D

Exterior wise I like the front end of the first gen more, the rear of the second gen more.... but the interior is second gen hands down!!

Wouldn't want to. The seat back might break, then the blend door might break and make me hot, then the cup holders might break and cause me to spill stuff everywhere, then the steering column might break... Bla Bla Bla...

Hey... What's this writing on my arm? I don't remember getting a noitide s'rotcelloc tatoo? Curse those one night stands! LOL.
:D:p:D:p

Yes... Yes... Mind, that was the back... I was safe there! Lol.

In fact. I've sat in 4 gen 2's

Jamie's
Chico's
Yours
Joey's

I'm sorry... but if you take care of your car that :q:q:q:q doesn't break... don't use the steering colum to lift yourself in and out of the car, don't put cups on the cupholder, don't use the heat or ac.... :D :D

And... Don't touch the CE's wood door trims with your arms! (especially if wearing lotions!) :D

KK- never did set in a Gen II now that you mention it. Only pics I've seen are real nice however. I think mine looks a liitle more sporty than a Gen II if that's possible. That rear light in your sig. is real sharp at night though. There are darn few Marks around here to even see, let alone set in. lol

Sit in a gen 2.... that's how I fell in love with them.... now I would still buy a gen 1 if I found a nice one for the right price.

up until i got my 2nd gen I hated the 2nd gens... now i could never go back to a gen 1
