Anyone tried this company that has ads on here Thermagasket? My 94 Suburban is leaking from the rear seal and they want about $350 to fix it? This comany has an additive guaranteed to seal any leaks like this?
Anyone know how hard it is to replace a rear seal with the engine in the car?

Looks like iorntite for the crankcase...i don't know...im assuming its the 5.7 and $50 for a decent gasket and you pretty much have to take the tranny out to do the rear main...so 350's not a bad price...

Yes it's a 5.7.

I guess for $24.95 the additive would be worth it.

Id just fix it the right way, but try the additive if you are on a tight budget, with the holidays and all.
