Man for a minute I was starting to think I wouldn't be able to find a clean LS anywhere around here. Looked at a bunch this past week that weren't up to snuff. Was looking at mostly '05's, and was surprised how much wear and tear they all had. Saw this LSE for sale (first time I ever saw a LSE listed) and really wanted it to be nice, but man feel bad for that car. It was rough.

Anyway I ended up finding an awesome and almost totally mint Gunmetal Grey (idunno if that's it's proper color name, but that's what I'm calling it) '05 V8 LS sport with 28k miles for just under 15k. And when I say mint I really mean it, its gorgeous outside and inside. I also went ahead and got the extended warranty after they knocked its price down some, I think this was a valuable lesson I learned after what my last LS cost me in just a few short months.

The only slight downside is that it has the tan/mocha interior, not that that's so bad..it's just not black. Car was too nice to pass up though. I'll learn to love the colors. The car has remote start (factory one) which was a nice bonus. Now I'm off to throw about 300lbs worth of sandbags in the trunk to avoid any more rear end surprises this winter.

Pics are posted! Going back tonight to have the satellite antenna removed, removing dealer badge, and removing that horrible sunroof visor thing. That thing is ugly.

But oh man does remote start kick ass! I don't see a time when I'll ever start the car the old fashioned way again

Suggestion: paint the chrome surround on grille and rear license plate. That color looks AWESOME with those paint matched.

Me too pektel, I am so glad to be back in one. The painted surround will probably happen...on my last one, it was painted black to match the car, and it looked great.

no big deal. I'm Glad to see the replacement LS, and not something different.

I have no problem paying full price for an xcal brand new, but why not save a few bucks if I can?

They were just a beater set they apparently give to people in the winter, I've got a normal set that was in the trunk too.

The prices I'm seeing on these newer LSes now are making me jealous. 13.5k was a great deal on an 02 when I picked mine up in April last year.

The economy + gas prices really hit this car hard from what I've seen. Might not be a bad time to trade up! The upside as well is that "retail" prices haven't stayed with the depreciation so far, so if you were to recently buy and then total a LS you'd probably come out OK with the check from the ins. co..... ha ha.

NYC I figured you'd like the color. Now that I have it I can say it's a better color than the black.
