In the future we may be contacting our local seamstress instead of a body shop. BMW's GINA project replaces hard body panels with movable frames and fabric body panels, just imagine, an on-demand Cobra R hood and adjustable spoiler for race nights! The downside could be a malfunction while the car is parked, now where did I park my Mark, all I see is a Fiero where I thought I parked. :confused:

That is just plain weird.
It opens its eyes "headlights".
Then blinks.
Its different.... time will tell were it goes.
 
Everyday applications in mild climates would be excellent. Large snow falls, low temperatures, I don't know. Depends on the material they use. You would need some serious backing and pretty tight material to withstand wind pressures at high speeds too. Looks darn cool though.:D
