I'm getting tired of the damned thing jamming to the point that I have to take it out and dismount the front plate to remove the CD manually.

I'm going to get an aftermarket deck and mount kit with an Aux port so I can use my MP3 player and a cd.

I'm wondering if anybody would like to buy the stock Alpine 6 CD Changer unit, and what is it normally worth?

Well since it keeps jamming I would consider just throwing it away instead of trying to sell it. Not much use to anyone if it keeps jamming, right?

+1, THIS guy must be an idiot hahahahahahaha

Honestly, it's because I use burned discs, that are like .5MM larger and lighter than a normal CD, that's why it keeps jamming.

also, any input on if I need sub pre-amp outputs for the receiver would be good.

You might as well just set it aside or trash it. Most of everyone on here have after market units with either Ipod controls or usb compatibility. With that said, the amount of songs people can play versus a six disc changer is no comparison.

you will need a sub preout(low pass only) with level control will work best if you have the FACTORY SUBS in the back deck

I still have my old factory head unit. I'm keeping it. That way I can reinstall it in case I ever sell the LS. Not likely that will ever happen, though. I LOVE my LS.
