Ok so I was wondering was is the average price of filling and redrilling a set of wheels... Because I cannot find any wheels I really like...

Im looking for a a set of staggered mesh wheels like from a BMW .. I love how big the lips are their wheels and no LS wheels is like that especally in a mesh style. So I found a couple sets that I like just wonder what would I need to know to make these fit ?

Make sure you get the proper offset. Some of the larger lipped wheels have too low an offset to fit under the LS.

What is the proper offset for a LS? 45?

and Would you know the cost of the redrilling?

Proper offset is 60, nearly impossible to find a wide lip wheel with offset close to that. Anything less than that is gonna be sticking out.

offset depends on wheel width. i believe but still check

8.5 wheel 42+
9.5 60+ i think

um 7.5 not sure ask ray 02V8Sport, or search his name, he has posted this

you are correct about it depending on the width or the wheel. I dont know about your numbers for an offset, but I know I have a set of 7.5" with a +45

So what it sounds like really won't be possible to have a large lip on a LS?
The largest i have seen for the 5X108 is a 1" lip.. And that really wasnt much ..

I have seen bigger.

Some wheels have high offsets on some sports cars but stil have huge lips. This is because the center line that actually bolts to the car is at a high offset but how ever the spokes or what ever the type of wheel it be drop back down deep into the barrel.

Even my ADR's have a 2&1/2" lip.

Jwerner I have always liked your wheels though they I have yet to see them in 20's plus a different color... Because the wheels you have are the style Im looking for..

So I need to look for a 60+ offset with a certain type of wheel spoke to get the kind of wheel im looking for.

member BigbodyLS (might be spelled different) had a huge lip on his wheels. he then sold them to Jason i believe. i think it's possible to find a decent lip on the rear wheel at least, staggered

I dont think you will ever find meshies in 20's with this bolt pattern.

Thanks for the compliment! The ADR M-Sport is a style based on the mesh M3 wheels. They do come in hyper black which can look really nice on lots of different color cars and the have a variant called the M-Classic which is all chrome and I think thicker and more spokes.

Depending on the size of your pocket and your wallet cause I doubt any pocket alone will be big enough you can find some nice MTO ( Made To Order )wheels from various companies that make 20" mesh wheels. What they do is produce blanks then drill out the pattern for you when you place the order but most companies are high end and costly like I said.

Bigbody Im pretty sure had Sevas wheels and true he did have some huge lips.. im not too worried bout my front wheels lips just the rear..

Jwerner-Yeah i really like the style of your wheels, I have an 06 I guess u would say light brown LS and smoked tails so i was looking for a Black/chrome lip set-up or just chrome. Would you happen to know of any companies that make blanks ?

I dont know what TSW has right now but you could check with them, other than that BBS, Forgeline are all I can think off of the top of my head.

But then again Im not sure if they will have 20's either. TSW should but only select wheels come in blanks. TSW makes a great wheel and are very light but when you get up to 20" in size they kind of weaken a lot.

Thanks for the help... I just remembered a place that sells nice mesh... CCW I think its 2600 a set though :/

But I will try TSW .. thanks for the help
