Most polls have Obama.ahead, and it may well stay that way for another week or so.
Then the late October surprise.
I think it will be the end of the run for the presidency for Obama.
I think it will be that serious.
The reason I am saying late October (24,25,26 or 27th) is because in the time left until the election, the Obama campaign will not have enought time to fight back, and the electorate will overwhelmingly choose McCain.
Those votes won't be "for" McCain, rather, a vote against Obama.
What is this October surprise?
I have no direct knowledge of it's content, but if it is what I am led to belive it may be, either one of these charges could end his bid for the whitehouse.
At this point there is a smoking gun, and I expect it will explode in another week or so.
Bob.

There are a few theories out there.
And it's clearly not orchestrated by McCain, his organization isn't crafty enough to pull something like that off. McCain lucked his way into the nomination, we should of had Romney up there right now. He'd be a credible voice on economic issues and he could mop the floor with Obama in a debate while looking and sounding like a movie star President.

You have the issue of Obama's citizenship.
It could be a Chicago or Islamic affiliation (not because he's a Muslim, but for political associations)
It could be something he or his wife wrote or said on tape.
There's even talk that someone like Bill Ayers may have ghost written his memoirs... seriously, and it's a credible idea.
I'm not sure, but Hillary looked awfully content being interviewed tonight. Knowing than an Obama win will greatly reduce her ability to be President in '12 or '16, she seemed awfully supportive.

Well, it looks like the first polls are saying pretty much what I thought about the Ayers connection - it is old news - 'Don't talk about what happened 13 years ago - I want to know what your vision is for the future.'

It will be interesting to see if there is anything with the citizenship or Muslim issues - I doubt it - they are huge smoking guns, and have been for months - I would think by now if there really were bullets in those guns, they would have been fired.

ACORN could be a problem - I haven't seen all the evidence on it, but, this is something that could become a decisive issue if some big facts, big money, or big illegalities are uncovered.

Hillary vs Romney would have been interesting. I thought it interesting that she did look pretty comfortable, and stated that she probably wouldn't join Obama's cabinet if he wins in November, but, Wolf didn't ask the Supreme Court Justice question...

She won't run - she would be 64 I think in 2012...

ACORN is delivering a coup d'etat for Obama in November. These people are the enemies of this republic.

As far as Ayers, all McCain needed to say last night was, "Well, unlike Senator Obama, I never served on a board with Timothy McVeigh or anyone like him."

Frankly, I think the real problem with Obama's association with Ayers isn't that he simply served on a board with him.

It's that they both share the same agendas, Obama simply doesn't use explosives to make his point.

The way the case is being made, to most people, it just seems like he spent time in the room with a dirtbag. But that's not the extent of the Ayers relationship. They worked together, closely. Ayer's hand picked the guy to lead. It's not just "we spent time in a room together."

It's like this throughout Obama's career. It's not just that he was around radical guys, it's that these radical guys not only shaped his views, but they actively endorsed him and carried him to the next stage of his political career on their shoulders. He was hand picked by the most radical elements of the left to be their candidate.

And now, he's effectively convinced everyone that despite his history, he's suddenly some kind of bridge building, centrist candidate.

Because that these representations aren't understood by the public, Obama and his representatives have been able to easily dismiss the associations. "Oh well, he just in the room... no big deal."

No, it's a huge deal.
But it's NEVER adequately explained.

....on that note, I expect there to be some insanely ugly 527 push polling before the election.

Ya
maybe Bin Laden will call Obama his "brother" in a tape released by Al Queda just before the election.

Damn whiteys always keepin' the black man down.

In this case, I think you will see that Obama is "keepin" himself down.
If my assumptions are correct, this October surprise will have nothing to do with white people against black rather, black against black or, black against the system.
Bob.

You're not talking about the Michelle Obama/Louis Farrakhan(sp?) tape?

What I am talking about is something I heard a while back on a radio talk show.
I won't go into detail here, but if it is what I heard, it will end Obama's political career for good.
Not sure what tape you are referring too.
I must have missed that one.
Bob.
