The XCAL is VIN locked to the car it is used on, meaning only one car at a time can use it. And even then, if you want to use someone else's XCAL, that person's car needs to be programmed back to the stock calibration or you pay about $100 more to have the handheld unlocked by a tuner.

torrie has some xcal2's for 349 right now...

How many tunes can they hold? If one were to pick this up from torrie with 3 tunes + stock, they could buy a tune from ILLS too if it would fit on the device.

As you stated, 3 tunes + stock. You can trade out any of the custom tunes.
