Anyone running one of those? I think Geno had it in his Mark VIII for awhile? Have they been holding up?
 
My buddy Russ has one in his Crown Vic Police Interceptor with a built motor... hes making 280 rwhp... he also has a 150 shot of Nitrous. He has put around 5k on the car since the install and loves the converter.... I believe he talked to Andre about his setup and everything.

I have a Circle D converter(from Lonnie @ BOC) and like it.

I have no experience with Edge but have heard more bad then good.
 
I have heard bad things about Edge converters but there is always a few unhappy people

I've had good luck with EDGE. Andre (the owner) is a gear head.

His after the sale customer service is top notch, too. He went out of his way for some info I was looking for.
 
Just don't get a Dirty Dog converter....

My buddy likes his and recommends them, and he wails the piss out of his car.
 
I wail the piss out of this trans more then anyone and all I can say is that the Edge has been in THE longest out of 11 years of murderous years. I LOVE them to death, tried them all (Except Dirty Dog) and never had a converter last me this long ever.

They hit the stall like Mike Tyson's right hook, almost like a stick, listen to this hit in these vids.

Not sure what you mean by hit the stall. Other than at the start if I hit the throttle it down shifts and the rpms are above the the stall at 3500. What stall speed do you use. I don't see how the vids show off the converter. Baybe a nice shift kit. What am I missing here.

Im in manual 1st gear for these videos, watch again and listen how when I first hit the throttle you will hear the engine zing up to 3500/3700 then unload the tires, like a stick dumping the clutch for example purpouses.
 
Ok I see what you mean like a stick. Thought that was a down shift from second. That is a nice converter. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm sure the extra ponys you got don't hurt. But yeh thats some bad ass videos.
