what spark plugs do you recommend?

I have a little over 80,000 miles on a 2001 with the 3.9 V8 engine and planning to change the plugs. What spark plug would you recommend since I don't have the owners manual? Thank you.
 
You can down load the owners manual from TECH ARTICLES next to the SEARCH at the top of the page.

Go OEM, the spark plug the LS is developed and tuned to.
 
I recently replaced mine with motorcraft again. No issues either :p
 
denso iridiums on mine for a a long time now and have yet to have a problem with them (LS8 01)
 
enerpulse pluse plugs $25 average each, and they do work, seen as much s 10 whp on the dyno from these plugs, I switched to them over a year ago and get more than 30mpg highway as well, am currently r & ding iridium versions of the plugs for enerpulse currently and they are worth every penny, every customer I've sold them to have been more than satisified.
 
I use Bosch quad platinum's. I've had no issue's at all, but im not getting great mpg, could be the way i drive though

Proof please?
 
where else can you pick up 6mpg and 5 whp for 200 or less? And as far as your proof goes I will have before and after dyno results in my gen 2 within 2 weeks, if you want more horsepower tv did a special on them with a c5 corvette picked up as much as 9 whp, there the real deal, we put a set in a 94 lincoln towncar with 254,000mi n change on it and its highway fuel economy average went from 20-22 to almost 26. Not to mention that the 3.9 in my gen 2 has never run this smooth, you cant even see it move at all when its running and your staring right at it, and I now average 19mpg in dallas bumper to bumper gridlock, and have averaged over 34mph over 900 mile drive with an average speed of nearly 80, so ya lol
 
I put a fancy spark plug in my lawn-boy lawnmower and I got a noticeable increase in fuel efficiency. But that was comparing it to the old badly worn plug that was in there. I want see dyno results comparing a set of brand new NGK plugs vs. a set of brand new pulse plugs.

That is the only way to tell for sure. To be scientific it would have to be done in multiple vehicles over a course of time with the results tabulated. But, I'm not that picky.
 
I'll beleive it when I see it, from an unbiased source and not someone trying to make a profit.

Sorry but Horsepower TV and every other show on "Powerblock" or whatever it's called hocks so much product on their shows it's nauseating so anyone with half a brain can see right through that.

Any time you change out dirty, old plugs for newer ones you will see a mpg and performance increase so forgive me if I'm a little apprehensive about these but I fail to see the "revolutionary concept" here.
 
I'm curious, i have x-cal3 and a CAI, soon a exhaust. The product is pretty demanding that the vehicle should be stock. dont know if i want to risk blowing my join up
 
I thought plugs alone wont do anything noticeable to brag about as far as power goes.

I was always told that unless you get the rest ( wires ) to accompany it you might then see a difference.
