New member of the 100mph club. I ran a 14.14 at 100 even tonight. Couldve ran better if id given time for the temp to go down.

Good times, do you have gears?

I ran for my first time tonight, didnt do so hot....
first run was a 15.8 I couldnt get any kinda traction...left at 1000rpm
2nd run was a 15.3 I still had to pedal it out off the line from idle.

How the hell can you make these gen 2s faster :(

Congrats Brandon.

I never did get down where I wanted to be. 2 14.9s, a 14.7, and 2 14.8s.

Next time I wanna see 13s out of you, then maybe you can beat your boss haha.

4.10's but its a secret! lol. Im postive if you had good tires you could pull a 14.7-14.8. Tires help a whole lot and pulling some uneeded weight out. Idc what anybody says about pulling seats or spares.. its helped me obviously.

Yep pulled the spare and rear seat, Im sure it could prob pull a 14.9ish if i didnt pedal it off the line. Here are my times on my best run... only had two first run was only a 15.8.

60' 2.47
1/8th 10.04
1/4 15.31
mph 92.41

Staff, get that 60' down and you'll see 14s. On my 98 I have a cone filter, tune by Lonnie, deleted mufflers and some bfg kdw 2s. My best 60's have been 2.1s and my best 1/4 is 14.668. Your mods seem similar, so you should be able to get at least 14.7s-14.8s. I've never pulled a seat, just emptied the trunk.

Street cars have seats. I race a street car, even though i do pull the 250lb stereo out. lol.

Word.

Although, I think I'm gonna try to ask the next guy I line up against at a traffic light if he'll wait for me to remove my interior. :D

I pulled the seat because I have a terrible noise coming from the suspension, I thought it was the bilstein shocks but it ends up my knuckle is bent and is too wide and slams when going over a bump. I had the seat out and was like eh wth I am racing tomorrow lets leave it out.

Sorry. Street racing isnt my thing so I dont need to worry about that. Plus, nobody wants to race a lincoln anyway.

Not mine either. I just find it funny when people do stuff like that. I always raced my cars how they were driven on the street and on street tires. The only things to come out was the stuff in the trunk as mandated by the track.

To each his own. A tenth and 1 mph is worth it for me.

^^ You may try also to reduce rotating mass by ditching those wheels. and moving to weld ultralights.

I run stock mark vii wheels in the back with nittos. I have big cobra calipers up front so I'd have to get 17's up front anyway.
