OMG! Wolf Blitzed gets totally a$$wiped.

Wow She puts Campbell in her place.

So in four years she switches back right....Into Clinton camp.

She's still a democrat. I didn't hear a straight answer out of her in either of those interviews. She just kept changing the subject.

She couldn't have been clearer. I was amazed. Don't know what link you clicked. I'd better check my link.

Down the drain the Dems swirl.

ASTONISHING: Rep. Rangel Calls Palin 'Disabled'
Embattled Politician: It's Laughable That GOP VP Nominee Bases Foreign Policy On Being Able To See Russia

Republicans Infuriated; Rep. King Blasts Rangel

Marcia Kramer NEW YORK (CBS) ― Already under fire for his tax troubles, Manhattan Congressman Charles Rangel really put his foot in his mouth on Friday.

In a CBS 2 HD exclusive interview, Rep. Rangel called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin "disabled."

The question was simple: Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity?

The answer was astonishing.

"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said.

That's right. The chairman of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee called Palin disabled -- even when CBS 2 HD called him on it.

CBS 2 HD: "You got to be kind to the disabled?"

Rangel: "Yes."

CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"

Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.

Whats so "astonishing"?

Did you click the link, it's astonishing how the Rep spin-machine works.

The responses:

"Charlie Rangel's comments are clearly disgraceful," Rep. Peter King, R-Long Island, said. "This is just another liberal Democrat who can't accept an independent woman running for president." - the sexiest angle

"We should be sensitive to her or any woman who has a child or family member who has any affliction at all," King said. "And so to use the word disabled in the context of a female candidate for vice president who has a child who is disabled really is wrong. Charlie owes her and the entire disabled community and apology." -the "she's a mother of five, damn you!" angle

"A disabled president ran this country. He was disabled. His name was Roosevelt." -This is my favorite, since Rangel clearly wasn't referring to Palin being physically (or mentally) disabled

"It makes me feel as if he's trying to put her down, trying to say she's not good for the presidency or the vice presidency," -Umm, what?

She's still a democrat. I didn't hear a straight answer out of her in either of those interviews. She just kept changing the subject.
Actually, Campbell Brown kept changing the subject. She would barely let Lynn answer.

Anybody else besides me notice Campbell's sheer inability to hide her contempt and scorn for Lynn?

So you're o.k. with the illegal cracking of someone's personal e-mail and the subsequent publication of it on the web.

And now you think it's reasonable for the an extremely powerful congressman who heads the ways and means to make jokes implying that the VP candidate is mentally disabled.

And you fail to notice a double standard- so if a prominent Republican were to do the same thing, you don't think there'd be 'outrage?" Especially if the target of their contempt had just given birth to a baby with a mental disability as well???

I will gladly give the Republican party Lady Baron Rothschild... If the Republicans knew anything about her, they would be going 'thanks, but no thanks'.

Not the best face to present to the American people. "Here is your average Democrat - see, she has come over to our side." Personally, most Democrats wondered why she was on our side - something hot with Hillary? I really never quite understood it. I have sat on committee meetings with her ladyship - you might think Hillary is as hard as nails - whoa, you ain't seen nothing yet...

Just the orbs around her neck should give you a clue... don't get too close.

Strawman towards me. I already said I deplore hackers and identity thieves and this isn't about Palin's email hack.

Strawman towards Rangel. He clearly said she was disabled politically, not mentall or physically.

CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"

Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live."

Possible I guess, but that's another "what if". But you very well know that words can be used in more than one way. This is just another case of "it's Palin, she's our golden girl, mother of five, FIVE CHILDREN!" outrage.

REEAAWWRR...

Getting kind of catty in here.

Somebody's jealous.

Meooooooowwwwww.....

Well, let's just say if I had the bucks that necklace cost - I would be looking at an F50 - although her ladyship probably has one of those too.

Yep, jealous - here I am hoping that Testarossas will continue to drop about another $10,000 -

...Rangel isn't "disabled" himself... he knows when he's said something that's politically damaging, especially AFTER he's said it, and the lap dog media stunned by his stupid statements serves him up an opportunity to "correct" himself.

He was saying, very clearly, that he didn't think very much of her intelligence. And he did it by equating her intelligence to someone with a mental disability. Classic liberal double standard- those base attacks are permitted and ignored when it's a corrupt veteran Democrat leader in the Congress.

Rangel is an outrage. He should be impeached for his reckless abuse of power, but the Democrats have controlled the politics of D.C. for the last half century. Sure, you can point to the brief periods of control they've held in the Congress since '95, but that doesn't speak of the actual CULTURE of Washington. And it's difficult to understand that until you've spent a fair amount of time within the beltway. But the Democrats RUN D.C.- it doesn't matter who the majority leader is. The culture, the tone, the politics, and the social networks of that city. They are entrenched. And Rangel, coming from the bluest of blue states (New York) and then from HARLEM, has the safest damn seat in the whole congress -regardless his abuses of power, his flagrant disprespect of the law, and his corruption of the system.

He has a long and illustrious history of making these insensitive gaffes, and the media ALWAYS looks the other way. You can challenge this statement if you wish, I'll eventually put a sample together, but if you google it, you'll find several examples effortlessly. He gets a pass because he's a Democrat, he's liberal, he's black, and then when all else fails, he plays he's "I was in the Korean War" card....

Doesn't all this blithering about Rangel belong with the other Rangel blithering? This was a thread about wolf vs the baroness...

and yep - Campbell looked like a terrier ready to fight and lady Rothschild doesn't fight with mere terriers... you probably need to send a mastiff in for that job...
