since the 99 and 01 cobras are rated at 320hp, would it be safe to assume even swapping on stock 01 cobra heads, cams, and intake along with headers and a full exhaust and tune should be a minumum of 60 hp increase on our cars ?

What car is this for? While I would say you should be able to realize a 60hp gain with C heads/Cobra intake/headers/exhaust there are easier ways to get there depending on what you are looking to achieve. A shortened runner 96-98 Cobra intake will get you close to 40hp but with less low end torque then a C head motor will make. If you already have gears/high stall TC it might not matter to you much and just the intake install is much less involved then doing the heads too.

its just going to be a daily driver but it may see a turbo one day

I bought my cobra intake manifold with the runners already shortened. But there are many speedshops that if you bring them a factory one will modify/shorten the runners. Mine made about 35 Wheel horse power more with the shortrunner and mods in my signature. it made 245rwhp at 6800 rpm.

Worth it!

I wonder how much the intake manifold alone added... ive got similar mods to your car but have that dreaded gen2 intake manifold. Ive been looking to get a cobra but havent found one yet. Ever ran your car at the track?

for my plans the 98 cobra intake should work fine. i will do some research on that. arent used ones around $400 ?

Less than that I would think. The 1999+ style ones seem to fetch more. I would not think you would have to spent any more than $300 and probably less.

i normally see them around 400 theres more demand for the 96-98 because its the best intake for b heads

True. But B heads are being worked on less and less. C head intakes go for $500+ now.

whoa whoa.... what ?? your car only dynoed 210 rwhp stock ? u lost 70hp through the drivetrain and then only dynoed 245 rwhp with those mods ? all those numbers seem low to me and thats alot to lose through the stock drivetrain

stock automatic drivetrains lose usually 22-24% so it is close but a little under what stock should be

sorry guys i am a little late on this one..

The dyno i went to was newly set up and was not properly calibrated. It was a dynapaq and they dyno'd a stock one right before mine to compare. 245 HP is good. It seems low but it could easily be 260-270 on like a mustang dyno. you never know. it pulls like crazy.. but yeah i would have liked to see an actual calibrated dyno do the pulls but for tuning you are just looking for increase or decrease after changing values. I also had 4.10s installed which supposedly you loose dyno horsepower off of.. either way im not a numbers guy, im an addrenaline guy. and my car gets me going every time i hit the skinny pedal!

I have never ran my car at the track..

I would, but i am still in the process of doing the one piece driveshaft.. getting the 93 one balanced and putting it in.. kinda running low on $$ this week.

yeah i got all kinds of stuff i could toss in mine but just no time, before the meet so ill be runnin stock again......but who cares!!

Just has a killer vibration at 65 and gets worse as you increase speed. i think by the end of the quarter mile it would be vibrating bad enough, i would be worried about it.. i would just rather not drive it at highway speeds with the vibrations.

Just put a whole motor in it. heads would be too much trouble than their worth even if you pulled the motor.
