Does 02-03 LS Engine fit in a 2000 LS

Does anybody know if an 01, 02 or 03 LS 3.9L Engine will fit in the 2000 LS with a 3.9L?

01 and 02 should fit no problem. 03 and up have a lot of changes and electronics are totally different.

Ok so the 02 LS engine will drop in with no problem huh. So any 01 or 02 LS engine will drop in with no problems with the electrical or anything.

I know for certain that 01's drop out...and back up with no problem.

Ok so it looks like both the 01 and 02 engines will fit without trouble. Now does anybody know if the 01 and 02 come with the 3.9L engines or are they all just 3.0L?
