I definately think the chin spoiler gives the LS a meaner/sporty look, just watch out when parking. So many curbs and parking spot things that will catch it. Mine is starting to show some wear from general road junk and parking spots. I'd like to see some close up pics that show your install, it took me awhile to get it where it looked right.

It does give it a good look but I don't like them. I have yet to see one put on that looks like it was meant to be on the car. They never fit right, they always twist or sit uneven from one side to the other.

its a mach 1 chin spoiler.

to install it took off the bottom skid plate/splash gaurd that bolts to the bottom of the front bumper with 3-4 screws. used spring clamps to get it where i liked it. then i ran the mounting lip even with the bottom of the front bumper. put 1 screw in the center pre drill hole. then drilled and zip tied the rest. zip ties wont take my bumper off if i do hit something, hopefully they will break befor either the chin spoiler or the bumper.

the sides are hard to do, i knew it couldnt be made to look right so i just did my best to atleast make them even.

i took off the front wheels so i could tell how much it was centered by how much i had hanging over each edge and i just measured the center slow on the stock lower grill to find the center of the car to line up with the center hole on the chin spoiler. once mounted i just used a razor knife and cut it flush with the wheel well.

the look is deffinetly growing on me. ive only hit 2 things. and parking spots arnt a problem, i just leave a good foot or 2 between my front bumper and the block. the intermediate pipe on my 87 trans am GTA sat lower then the front bumper on this. so im used to avoiding things.

They look good but you dont like them? Why? I have only seen a few people who have attempted this but i can speak for myself that mine looks looks like it belongs there. The type of plastic that is used is the EXACT same black plastic that is used for the rocker panels and the front guard, so it matches perfectly....color, texture...exactly. As far as mounting it, it isnt easy but with some time and patience you can get it mounted correctly. Oh.... and mine isnt twisted or uneven, this guys install doesnt look bad but i do want to see a close up. I'm not too sure about his zip tie method. Those things take a ton of abuse not to mention alot of pressure when driving at high speed.

Exactly, they look good but I know they dont fit as if it was factory. I did a good search with the last one that posted about them and I seen a ton of them and they all look the same. I know they are the same material and have the same look as the factory valance, side skirts and rear valance but that dont help the fact that they dont fit like the factory parts said.

Everyone I seen either didnt fit along the sides or had a bit of a wave to it from bending it to fit better along the sides. I always say why do it if its not going to look like it was meant for it.

I give lots of credit for people douing it but I would rather have something like itr in looks that actualy fit.

i've gone back and forth about this project and i think i will just go with the wings west one. good install tho, closer pics would be great

my buddy zip tied his onto his mustang bullitt. he hasnt has any problems at all for 2 years. they hold up
