its a mach 1 chin spoiler.
to install it took off the bottom skid plate/splash gaurd that bolts to the bottom of the front bumper with 3-4 screws. used spring clamps to get it where i liked it. then i ran the mounting lip even with the bottom of the front bumper. put 1 screw in the center pre drill hole. then drilled and zip tied the rest. zip ties wont take my bumper off if i do hit something, hopefully they will break befor either the chin spoiler or the bumper.
the sides are hard to do, i knew it couldnt be made to look right so i just did my best to atleast make them even.
i took off the front wheels so i could tell how much it was centered by how much i had hanging over each edge and i just measured the center slow on the stock lower grill to find the center of the car to line up with the center hole on the chin spoiler. once mounted i just used a razor knife and cut it flush with the wheel well.
the look is deffinetly growing on me. ive only hit 2 things. and parking spots arnt a problem, i just leave a good foot or 2 between my front bumper and the block. the intermediate pipe on my 87 trans am GTA sat lower then the front bumper on this. so im used to avoiding things.
