New wheels

Just love it!!! Nice offset... very aggressive look!! I think there is my offset :D

I knew you could go lower than +45. I bet you could pull +35 and thats it. I just read over again and I realized the whoping tires size! 245/45 and you have Eibachs. Not that its that big but for some people that talk about rubbing with such low offset I am sure they would be convinced its to big a tire untill now. Thats nice, it has a great look and still must have a soft mellow ride!

One thing that might prove me wrong ( I hope not :D ). What is the width of the wheel? Is it 8.5, 8, or 7.5?

They're 18x8.5".

Love the way the car sits, but they're AWFULLY close to the edge of the fenders. Should be interesting when I have people in the back.

8.5"

I'm glad those are 38+, just widened my search a :q:q:q:qload after the "you can't go lower than 45+" mess.

Rent a rolling tool.

When I was going through that Craiglist I saw someone post that they will offer the service but they want 50$ a fender. I dont know the guy personaly but it may or may not be worth it.

The total cost will cost you as much to just buy the tool I think.

People like me say 42-45mm to be safe. If you want to go lower its at your own risk. I run a 42mm 8" wide wheel with 255 wide tires and rub on dips in the road. But then again I am lowered almost 2" so that may have a bit more to do with it.

Just like some people like to run 87 octane gas. Its at your discretion.

93+ oct. or higher ALWAYS in all my cars ;)

Yes he can run 245 with 8.5 wide rim with 38 offset. But if you go with a 8 wide rim the tire will be taller than with the 8.5 rim. and then it will really rub. The wider the rim the lower it will make the tire seem. I run 8 wide rim and use 245/45/18 rear with the 45 offset and it fits just nice inside the lip with no problem. I don't think that you could do that with 38 offset. It would rub.
