Just ordered...Rear Door Scuff Plates

I just ordered at my local Dealership the 2003 OEM LS Rear Door Scuff Plates...

Tommorrow I am going to go get them so wait for the install pics...

Part Numbers

These are nice and only came on the 2003 LS. Ford started "Decontenting" the LS after that. I guess even in 2004 they knew the LS was a short timer. Here are the part numbers.

RR-#5W4Z-5427008-A List $41

You can get then for about $36 each at most on-line Ford parts places. Like here:

Now there is a little bit of modification. The clips holding on the plate are usually cut off and you just glue or use two-sided sticky tape to hold them on. Otherwise you have to take more parts off and it gets complicated.

I added these to my 2006 car. Basically, I snipped off the mounting clips that protrude from the bottom, grind down the stumps with a Dremel too, and attach the plate using double-sided mounting tape.

I'm not sure how these will work on the 00-02 cars, but I can't think there are many differences in the door jambs. It will look great when you're done! Please post pixxx.

They will. You may have to get slightly creative.

I don't think the '04 MY had them and as you see, are discontinued. Best luck is ebay/CL, parts car, or a parts car on eBay/CL
