Monday morning on my way to work the car suddenly went into failsafe mode while driving down the freeway. Thankfully I was close to an off ramp so I headed for the parking lot. Ford's Roadside Assistance hauled the car to a dealership where it was determined that my throttle body needed to be replaced (codes: p2107 & p2110; PPT DV 18 found an intermittent short inside of the throttle actuator control motor assy. resistance values dropped below 1 ohm. replaced electronic throttle body).
So, the car is fine now. Just got it back today. Also, I just received my KKM filter. So my question is, should I drive it stock for a while to be sure that the problem is solved or should I go ahead and add it right away?
