Just got Mclaren grill question on paint

well I just got my mclaren grill today and was trying to figure how I wanna paint it. my car is midnight gray metallic should I leave the center black or paint the whole thing I cant decide please help me make my mind up haha anyone have any pics of the grill installed and painted my color?

On those darker colors, it might look better to paint the whole thing. If you don't like it, you can always shoot the center black yourself...

Depends on what you want. When I had mine, I had it painted all one color since the lower opening was body colored as well.

yea thats kinda what I was thinking I might just paint the whole thing if I dont like it I can just paint the center black I was kinda hoping someone had pics

Mine's not the same grey as yours, but I have a pic or two of the McLaren I had on my car in my photo gallery.

If you look at NYC's gallery, I'm guessing he'll have a couple pics of his painted all the same color. I have Ivory Parchment, so I don't know how much help that would be, but here you go:

I have been searching around but most of the pics I see are light colored cars so
its been kinda hard for me to tell well I think im gonna go pull the old grill off and just set the Mclaren in to try to get a better visual for my self maybe ill snap a few pics

Tomorrow I'll have a pic or two of your old grille on my car finally got it painted. I have a black 2002 and I painted the whole thing one color.

Thats the picture of it when I left work today. Gives you an idea of the darker color. Tomorrow I'll get it on the car with tape off the emblem.
