Jons Tinted Tails

YES! I highly recommend him and as so he is one of our partners on our partner's page:

As for shade of tint, it all depends on what look you are wanting to acheive. I had three sets of tail lights done by him in three different shades when I had my LS. I prefered the light-medium shade as it was not too dark but dark enough to tell they were tinted.

I also had my car done by him GREAT quality mine are meduim dark. I did reverse lights tailights inner and outer and the side markers(on the bumper). Medium dark is pretty dark if you want more red Id go with medium.

im definitly going to go with JTT the quality seems unbeatable just stuck on medium or medium dark, i would rather it be darker but i want to avoid any nonsense with law enforcement, does anyone know if led bulbs in the tail lights will shine through any better than just halogen bulbs. thanks for the help.

Look at my gallery. BTW you wont find a store bought LED that will be brighter than halogen.

i will probably end up doing that exact same thing as you did, i like that darkness. yea i have not tried LEDs from any stores the only ones i have used are from superbrightleds.com, but i like the look you have and that seems to be plenty of light coming through, espically for what seems to be day light, probably brighter at night. what/where are your bulbs from?

When I took those pics it was noon on a clear summer day. so it was bright outside. those bulbs I am using are just standard clear bulbs nothing special.

Halogen??? LED??? I think someone is confused... Which is brighter might not be the issue at hand here; LED's don't replace headlights, they replace standard, incandescent signal lights... Halogen lights are used as headlights, high-beams and low-beams.

I think he means will LED's be brighter than incandescent. As far as this goes... maybe... depends on your reflector and they way the LED's are set-up... LED's are VERY directional.

Yes sorry mix up on my part. I meant incandesent.

I noticed he dont have Lincoln on the site. So how would this work? Roughly how much does it cost?

Also does anyone know how the VHT nightshade works? Is it worth the money?

Ive heard terrible stories about VHT fading over time and chipping off as well. I had mine done dark and had the indentions on the lights done a medium tint. I couldnt be without mine for 4 days so I had a local shop do mine for 125.
