Wheel Adapter (5x4.25 to 5x4.50)

Hi,

I saw this wheel spacer adapter on ebay which changes the lug pattern to the more standard 4 x4.5(114.3mm). Do you think the wheel will stick out to
far with this adapter?
(The wheel I'm looking at is 18x9", 24mm, 5x4.5)

cant do it... especially with that offest. They will be sticking REALLY far out. Sorry.... Ive already looked into it. I just had to get wheels custom done.

To be more specific, I am lookingto getting the Mustang Saleen Style rims on ebay, but obviously they are 5x4.5.

I found a guy online who custom makes them specifically for Lincolns/t-birds, with a 5x4.25 pattern.

The specs are:

18x9" (front and back)
5x4.25
36mm offset


WOuld these fit on a lowered LS? also, what the biggest size tires I can get in the back, 255?

36 offset is still alittle much. optimum for LS' is anywhere between 45-50. Its hard to say what tires will fit until you get the wheel on there.

:dancefool Thats me (We custom cast those wheels)....I doubt that a 9" wide wheel with that offset would work very well with respect to the outter position of the wheel. I am looking at doing a 20X8.5 or 18X8.5 wheel option specifically for the LS. The styles with the correct tooling are: 20X8.5 Bullet or CobraR & 18X8.5 Y2K Cobra. There is a thread already in place if you want to have a look.
