finally figured it out.. mirror lights.

i think aftermarket turning arrows are tacky as shi7 ... they dont belong on a lincoln ls. if they did, ford would of put them on there.
 
I know when I am looking to see a car signaling where it wants the go, the first place I look is the ground.
 
Probably easier to wire up neon underglow to the turn signals. Rice is nice after all.

As stupid as it may sound to others, I think its a good idea. I'd be interested in the results. Who needs puddle lights anyway? They aren't even that bright. Maybe they can be wired to do both...light the ground and for turning.
 
My reasoning is for night time driving, and the lights would reflect off the doors as it does now when used as a puddle light.

midi - the bulbs are 168 / T10 type, per the invoice from LSKoncepts. They're some Asian brand, made by Alpha LED. Model number ALPHA-02.
 
me and my family love them.. i dont know about you.. but i dont like tracking mud into my lincoln. although i do agree with you about them not being bright enough which is the purpose of this thread.

u shuld build a custom light.. put two 5 wedge led's in each mirror get like a plastic cover and mount it up back in there cant be too hard! and u get some very bright puddle lamps
