My buddy has 03 cobras on his 94 mark he said he got them off ebay. Ive looked high and low and cant find them any where 5x4.25 he didnt drillem or nothin slid right on no prob. Anyone have an idea where to look or who to call? And what about draglite? I was told draglite xp's would fit but cant findem please let me know thanks

I have seen sets on ebay but they are from a company and are not from a 03 cobra.

they were prob a private seller, look for "baggedtaco" on here he made a run of some cobra (and other) rims in a markviii bolt pattern

Guilty as charged....:shifty:

I had some 03 Cobras done up in 17X9 Chrome with our bolt pattern and offset requirements. They are all sold out now (Few weeks ago). Might get more done if there is some interest.

Everything I have done is exclusivley ours not to be distributed anywhere else so if someone else had them they were from a differant build and manufacturer.

Cheers,

Brad

Let me know if you do if i wind up not doing the hub swap ill still get them but if not i know a buddy of mine is dien for them

Any word on draglites?

I am going to see them at our annual vendor show next month and grill them on why I have not gotten any response from them.

For what its worth though I think we came up with a good drag wheel solution using Holeshot products. Yes they are more money BUT IMHO they have a superior product with many, many finish & style options.

I never kept this forum up to speed on the drag wheel project simply because interest seemed less than bleek...

I only have casts for 17X9's in that wheel (03 SVT Cobra's)...If there were a few folks willing to commit I could get a build started on them on Monday. Its simple as that..

If we had at least 5 buyers we could do $160ea plus freight in a 17X9 CHROME finish. If we go Polished or Paint that price comes down to around $130ea plus freight.

I'd be interested in a set of drag wheels. Was gonna put slicks on my stocks, but a guy down the street needed wheels bad so I helped him out. Wouldn't have the cash till around income tax time though.

More wheel questions

I'm interested in the different types of polished billet, chrome wheels that are available for gen1 cars. I've seen lots of wheels on ebay, but our fitments seem to be unusual.
What's the biggest wheel that'll fit the stock wheelwells- dia. and width?
Will LS or Mustang wheels fit?
The '03 wheels baggedtaco is talking about- what do they look like?
Can we get the price down for chrome if we get enough sets?
Thanks, Kevin.

Kevin,
There are Billet Options...Gotta be carefull what ya go with though because of the barrel types and center design. You could end up with something really expensive that ends up looking like chit. There is a guy on the .org site doing a BOZE wheel and it ended up looking pretty lame imo. I can't believe the manufacturer welded it up...heh...I would not want my logo on the damn thing.

That price is as good as it gets in a 17X9 Chrome, unfortunatley for all of us...

Holeshot will take good care of you. They have some really nice styles, they are VERY helpfull and VERY knowledgable of their products. We did some test fitting on a 94Tbird LX with stock front & rear disk brakes. Visit the thread I linked below to learn more. I am a dealer but as a group you could all probably do better just going through them direct.

I am sure that they would send you a wheel for test fitting if you just called and asked. I am pretty sure the results would be VERY similar with the Mark.

There are a couple ways you can go with the Holeshot wheel. I explain it in the post linked below.

Sorry for the Hi-Jack...Maybe we need a few new threads???heh
