Gas Mileage??

I filled up my LS a couple days ago and so far getting good mileage. Mine is a V6. What are you guys getting per tank on yours???

I have a 2000 v8, on the freeway, the mileage viewer says im getting about 27 mpg, which is pretty decent, but if im doing city driving, it plummets to about 16. So far my average is about 22 overall, which is about the same as my last car so im satisfied.

Read the owner's manual. They're all 18 gallon composite saddle tanks.

I get 25-27 MPG hand calculated. That ends up being about 450 Miles per tank. 02 V8. I did not get such good mileage until after Torrie's tune.

Composite saddle tank means the gas tank is made of composite materials ("plastic"), and it's shaped like a saddle (more or less). It has a high area in the middle to clear the driveshaft, with two low areas on either side.
