More Angel Eye questions

I have a 2000 LS. I think I have black sealant around my headlights just looking at them. Is there certain years that had black vs. gray sealant?

If mine are black, can I still do angel eyes?

Any other information would be helpful

The grey glue from what I am takeig it is a hit and miss for the first gen no matter what year.

Mine is one of the earlier ones (early 2000) and they say that the earlier ones have the grey glue but I had black. I had also gotten the grey glue set out of a 01. But, a friend of mine has the 2000 non sport with grey glue.

As far as useing those you have to dremel them apart and if you look hard with the search engine youll find the how to. Someone ( the person that posted it ) may even just shoot you a link or something.

Ah. The way it had been described before it was as if "you will break your headlights if you try with black glue". Hmm... Perhaps I should look into this.

I have the write-up composed by a meber here. I'm sure he won't mind my re-posting it.
You may notice some differences in the headlights and halos because this was done on a 2nd gen LS.
