Howdy,

How does one go about replacing one of these? Will it require removing the bumper from the car?

Thanks,

The chrome strips are held on by metal clips under the bumper. To keep from damaging the bumper it is better to remove the bumper cover to take the chrome strip off. The metal clips are pretty strong and you might risk the chance of destroying the bumper and the chrome strip if you tried to remove it by not removing the bumper cover.

Thanks, one of mine is cracked and I wish to replace it with an uncracked one as part of fixing the busted stuff on the car. Next on the list is the passengers side defroster and main vents. Any tricks on those?

Get us some pics, it'll help more than verbal description alone.

The triangular defroster vent is broken and just comes out if you grab it. The main passengers side vent appears to have a mounting clip that is broken since one corner sticks up and will push back down but pop back out. I"ve not attempted to remove it without having a spare incase I break it.
