KKM 2000-2002 KKM Intake

vs

K&N 2003+ Intake

Are there any premade "covers" for such as for the K&N Series air intakes? It would make sense that the new cone air filter would now be pulling in all air including hot air from the engine.

If not, recommendations on creating one?

So how do we work this out? Because I'd like to order th KKM Intake from LSKoncepts this week, but only if I *know* I can make the shield and get the materials to make it. Or have someone make it themselves? ;-)

The heat shield has been built before by another member on here. That is where I got the template at. I can't remember his user name but its on here somewhere. The heat shield fit very good too.

The heat shield will fit all years? I printed the dimension and tried to put it together to see what I was going to be dealing with when I do the real thing, but I couldn't figure out how to put it together.
