Yes that would sure be a drag.
I don't take the Camaro out on long trips as the LS
is so much more comfortable.
The Camaro has Trickflow heads which have lowered the compression to 9.3 to 1 from the factory 10.5 and I've put 20k on the car since installing the S/C.
It will brake the tires loose downshifting accelerating on a highway ramp up to speed if I put my foot in it.
I get a bit of blowby every now and then but it has over 100,000
miles on it.
I only put about 3000 miles a year on it now and if it blows that will be a reason to go with a 383 stroker engine with forged internals and 15 psi of boost.
At 49 and well established I can affort these indulgences more so than the younger guys here.
Age has it's rewards over youth.
