My LS is doing fine

not only do i love my LS, i love the vendors! teamford just gave me a huge discount and next day shipping for half of what the dealer was going to charge me for the part alone!

That's a great feature on my 03. I can't believe the 06's don't have that....I guess they cut corners since they knew it was the last year of production, sad.

It was dropped halfway through the '04 model year, due mainly to customer complaints. I guess some people had a hard time keeping their windshield clean enough for the system to work properly

Speaking of discounts, Lincoln ordered me an LSE grille and they are going to paint it----my cost 0$ for the grille and of the painting...awesome!

It pays to know people.

I will post pics when it is installed.

replaced my bad coil yesterday, took me a total of 25 minutes, cost me under $50 and my car is running like its brand new. It's nice when you actually like getting up to go to work when you drive an LS.

So the rain sensing windshield wipers are only 00-02? (i have them on my 01), its definately one of my top 3 fav. things about this car(i didnt even know i had them until like 3 weeks after i bought the car)

I have an early build 2004 with rain sensing wipers and they work great. Lincoln discontinued them in 2004 because some owners didn’t understand them and Lincoln could save money.

haha, how hard could it be to understand that feature......switch to auto, let wipers work for you, wow, simple.

There will be an "Auto" setting on the wiper stalk if its equipped, and there will be a small box about 2 inches high and 3 or 4 inches wide behind the rear view mirror glued to the windshield.
