So what is that # above your mileage #. Mine at 1543 or w.e. I'am guessing thats my oil change km. Whenever you change oil it goes to 0?

Can't be that because i didn't go no trip. Just city driving.

the trip meter counts whether youre on a "trip" or just city driving. press the reset button. it will go to zero. there is an oil change indicator but that is located in the message center on the right side of the instrument panel and that gives you percentage of oil life left.

It's the trip odometer! It even says TRIP right next to it! Are you new to cars? Or have only driven cars 20+ years old? sorry ;)

Also the oil life indicator is in the message center like Tagliato said. If you don't know what the message center is you probably don't have that option (little display in lower right of instrument panel with mpg, status and such)

wow i must be blind.. it does say that...lol And no OLD man im not new too NEW cars....hehe i also own a 2002 jaguar s-type :P I own nothing but the best:p

Go to the top of this page; click on TECH ARTICLES; scroll down on the left to Lincoln Tech - Lincoln LS; scroll down to you find Owners Manual for your year or near your year LS and down load the manual.

That should answer your questions about your car features.

wow...I am glad we got that figured out...I was starting to worry about you vicls

did he say "it cant be a trip odometer, because I only drive in the city"
WTF?

this had got to be the dumbest person with an IP address.

^^^ Give him a break... lol, even though it is funny.

Perhaps he is new with english, not from the US originally...?? (I hope)

LMFAO!!!!!!:bowrofl:

I locked myself out of my LS when I first got it....keys in it, ignition running and AC on full blast. I did not know the door code yet and had to get a locksmith to open my door up. By the time I got in, there was frost all over the windows.....fun times.

Were you inside??;) :D
