Thought I'd share a cleaning tip with you guys, for all the information I jacked from the mark thread for my conti.

I had some wenol metal polish (blue) and used it to clean all of the hazing and scratches from the plastic chrome trim all the way around the car. Even the trunk bezel that looked milky white has a mirror finish now. Also it put a real nice shine on the headlights and took a big scratch out of my tail light. It goes on easy and is easy to work with. It did remove all the fine scratches from my tail lights. I was shocked how well it worked. It left no hazing or dulling on any of the plastic i used it on. Also makes the cobra stars look like new. Just thought id pass it along cause I know It's hard to find one product that can restore alot of stuff. And from what i seen yesterday you can't mess it up puting it on.

Love for the RWD brothers.

Thanks, definitely going to try it. Due for a full polish/wash/zaino soon.

I like this thread. It is nice to see what other people are using and how well it works.

I am currently using the Lucas wipe and shine (mist detailer). Of all the mist detailers I have used, this one is by far the best.

My favorite cleaning tip is the use of Scrubbing Bubbles. It removes a lot of stuff stuck on the paint. Great for bugs!

Then there is Grease Lightening, its cheap, but I try not to use it since it takes anything off the paint and may damage it. I've uses it, but I dont know the long term. But great for tar!!!

Both above work SOOOO much better than those "Bug and Tar" removers....

Would it help my "yellow" headlights? Mine are pretty bad, but would this stuff even make a difference?

my head lights were pretty clear when i started, but I did get some yellow/white residue off of them. They looked alot better when I was done. In my travels around the internet I seen a headlight repair kit for that at autogeek.net
