Stock Nav. in 2002 ls

Is there anyway possible to put a stock nav. like say an 03 in a 02 ls? I know you can do the whole aftermarket thing, but I want my car to look like it actually came with a nav. system. I don't like the "tampered" look.

I know it has been done before, but they said the cost of the install is about double from a aftermarket navigation. So, if your willing to pay more money for a stock look then go head. But I recomend getting an aftermarket navigation, not only will you save money, but will also have more features.

Your '02 console is black, but this silver one (stock on '03+) can be painted to match your console. Then a nice Pioneer Nav. system would look stock.

This has been asked many, many times before and the answer always is: If you have enough money and time, yes, you can do it. However, the task is daunting. The electrical system for the 03+ LS is completely different than the 02. In addition, you'll have to hide the GPS antenna, run all the electrical wires, replace the steering wheel so you can have the wheel-mounted switches work properly, add in the wheel-mounted dead reckoning system, etc., etc., etc., it gets prohibitively expensive. Many have suggested that if you REALLY want Nav, sell your 00-02 LS and get an 03+ with Nav. Its much easier, and probably cheaper too.

The dash-mounted Nav in the picture above from 02V8Sport looks very clean! Its probably a better way to go with your existing car.

I looked at other units for more features, but the price difference isnt worth it to me now. So Im keeping the D3.
