Looking for Lowering Spring, for 2000 V8 Sport

Thinking about Intrax or Eibach

I know that Intrax drops front n back about .2 -.4 lower than Eibach.

Is there any other difference in the 2?

intrax will give you a little lower drop, which is good if you have room, also the intrax are a better quality spring in my opinion and usually better priced. i have not had the best of luck with eibach and you are paying more for the name. i went with sprints on my car and am happy with them.

Thanks Broke,, yea I been pricing them online and Intrax about $25-30 less than Eibachs.

I want the lower look,, planning to go with 19''

I'm curious as to why you think Intrax is better. Is price all your going on? I'm not trying to spark a huge debate but back up why you think they are better.

I have the Eibach's. I have owned many different brands of lowering springs on different cars. Eibach, SST, Hotchkis, Ford Motorsport, and H&R. I haven't owned a set of Intrax yet. In my experiences, in overall satisfaction I would say that Eibach is the best. I am making this decision based on ride quality, handling, and looks. I am very satisfied with the results on my LS. I am not sure if there is really a quality debate between the two brands as I am sure that they are both quite good. I think the issue between the two brands is how low you want to go.

Here is a pic of mine with the Eibach's

Thanks Sik, I agree that as far as quality they are both equal. Guess it comes down to how low,,, and how reliable they each are over time.

Im lookin for low look onto 19's.

But also know that how low depends on morethan the Springs like How good your struts are,,etc.

My cars struts/shocks are close to needing replacement,, so car looks dropped allready,,lol but rides like sh***

Anyone have pics of 19's with Eibach or Intrax?

i have had intrax on other cars and they have seemed to handle quite well for me, eibachs have not held up well for me or some of my other friends but maybe we are just too hard on them. but hey the color on the eibachs is better.

Cant complain, the ride is great and it looks nice as well.

This is my third LS that I have put Intrax on and I had intrax on my previous 240SX-T and SHO. Cant complain, thats why I keep using them.

Yea ur ride hight is perfect,, just worried since i live in pothole hell South Coast Mass...lol

Your rear is dropped lil lower,, cause of sub and amp weight?

With respect how have the Eibach's not held up. I've had them in three mustangs, a rx7 and my english fords. I have beaten the hell of these cars. On used to commute every day on the then pot loaded pa rte 76 from phila to KOP, then south on 202 to Great Valley.

Any spring that can survive that daily beating is one that I would look at first for my ls.

Subs and amp add 30lbs to my car. Its all light fiberglass boxes with an amp. The back just looks lower because of the bigger tire. I have 255/40 in back and 245/35 in front.
