Finally got a day off with some free time to work on the LS. A month or so back I purchased an 02 LSE Spoiler from Bill Jenkins at Team Ford....helpful, friendly guy to deal with and man, I love the spoiler….what a touch it ads to the back end of the car. Also picked up a McClaren Grille off of Ebay as well. Had them both painted and they have been sitting in my garage awaiting this very day. Application of both items was quite simple. After test fitting the spoiler and marking its location, the spoiler went on easy. For the McClaren grill, some may recall me posting questions concerning the attachment hardware, as I could not remove the stuff from my factory 06 Grille. In a quest, I found exactly what I needed in Lowes making this job a snap. The materials I acquired for this make it much easier then adapting the studs from the factory grille to the McClaren Grille and frankly, I think it is a better method for attaching the grille. If time permits, I may do a little write-up on it.

So what do you think on the grille??? It started out as gloss black, but I hated it…. just didn’t pop like I wanted. I masked off the surround and painted the grille area with cast, which I like much better, however, I’m wondering now if I should have painted it in matte black. Think I need to loose the front plates too!

Hey, Hows it goin down there in Wagoner? You ever go out to Tulsaraceway park? I am out there almost every friday. They have it closed tommorow I'm the only one out there with a mark.

Your LS looks great. I just need to attach my spoiler now.

May I ask how you attached the rear spoiler ? The printed factory directions I received from Team Ford called for some additional adhesive points as well as the red and green double stick tape.

Very nice, the grille and wing do set it off.

Get those wheels powdercoated/painted black/dark grey and your're set!

I'd like see what you came up with on that.

Hey Machspeed, sweet looking ride! Nice plates too..

My family is all from OKC.. my wife and I are planning on relocating to OK this summer/fall. (Actually, I am in the process of starting a company down there, but will move regardless) My folks are out in Yukon.

ps, How can Del Rancho not be the #1 chain in America? ;)

The tape should already be on the spoiler for 1/2. The other 1/2 you are supposed to add when you install the spoiler. But you should have received the spoiler, tape, and directions.

Hey friends, thanks for the comments on my car.

northstar11, thanks I agree but then I am partial to black. Note the F-150 in the background of one of the pictures.

BlntdEyez, I make it to the track once a year for the Mid American Mustang Shelby Meet. I am spectator only, but hope one day to put my 69 Mach on that track. Do you run your Mark there?

hrlincoln, I merely used the red and green tape supplied. The spoiler tacks down tight.....no problems.

GrayGhost1, if I get time, I'll post the info.

Thanks again,

John

Very nice. I really like the black LSs. They look good. Nice job!
