Uh..... Did you photoshop that sucker, or did you accualy park on the curb?

Nice lights. Looks Clean

Hey man so the lights are working fine now I assume? Pretty nice lights for $105 wouldn't you say. Yae I put mine behind the side marker lights in that corner area and used zip ties to hold everything up.

yeah, well ya make do with what you have.....i had a curb and luckily the electronic parking brake held up.

for 105 no they are not bad lights at all. i just had to break them in i guess they fire up fine now.

ill take a picture of the beam tommorow night. it pretty much casts a bright white pool of light about 10-15ft in front of the car and on the sides. it also casts a pattern sort of like highbeams but dimmer, which is great for seeing deer while not blinding oncoming drivers. with the stock hid lows, they work great together. i can just have the fogs on and no low beams and see fine.

i get sort of disappointed turning my highs on and seeing the fogs go off. i think i might have to get brighter high beams now

glanga,

Why didn't you want HID's for the fogs? I'm still debating on whether to buy the Xetronic Digital HID kit from LSK. They are water resistant so are great for the fogs. Plus add a bunch more light. (EDIT) I didn't read correctly. You did buy the HIDs

BTW, looks nice. I bet at night it casts a nice white light.

My question is (is it illegal to drive around with fog lights on HIDs)

As long as the ballasts you bought are waterproof then you shouldn't have a problem with that mounting location. Remember, not all HID conversion kits are waterproof.

Umm.... One of the points of having headlights on is so others can see you.

beleive me im sure they can see me with these. even if my lows arent on, the ambers are on along with the fogs, i didnt say i do that i just said i could do that

yes the lights are hid's

im not positive if the ballasts are waterproof but for $100 i might as well just put rtv sealant or something waterproof in possible entry areas or just slather it all over the ballast, im not worried about how the ballasts look they are hidden.

and jattgary,
im pretty sure it is, especially uncapped 9005's

question, does the little screw with the spring around it aim the fogs? if so i tried doing that and nothing happened....

Do you have a better pic I like that color I almost went with that color but I went with the 6ks in my lows and 3ks in my fogs

well they can see me with just fogs on though since thats what their intended purpose is, to make your vehicle visible.

just saying they are bright enough i dont NEED lows on but id never drive around like that it looks stupid

whatever.....ill take pics later tonight

Looks great! But they're too blue compared to your headlights (just nitpcking here) Unless you like the color difference of course.

yeah i dont mindthe color difference because no matter what youll notice the fogs more anyway because they are 9005's. the highs are still halogen too.

possibly the easiest and best lighting upgrade for anycar. the difference with driving is amazing. havent gotten flashed yet. a local cop came over while i was taking pictures behind the shopping center and didnt say anything about the lights.

btw love your car jattgary
