A garage is only going to charge me $120 to install lowering springs isn’t this a great price?

jesus, wher in PA is that shop I think it's worth the ride from Jersey lol.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the average quotes people say they get for this are like $300-$450

Damn, $30 a corner! Either that garage is hard up for work or they don't know what their doing, cuz that price is way too low. I wouldn't trust them.

Maybe they'll stick ya for a $300 wheel alignment after the spring swap!

If you do go ahead and use them, you better keep a close eye on them and their work. Get that price quote in writing too!

I got a quote from my local shop for $520 out the door which includes the springs and the alignment!! This is a great deal in my opinion but I'm still saving up some money. I'm going to have them replace the shocks at the same time (car has ~60k on it). But at $70-$80 per shock I'm looking at around $850 total.

Let me know if I should keep looking or if this is reasonable considering the carryout price on the springs is $290.

Another LS in the CC i'm in got his car dropped for 180.00 out the door without alignment. Eibach was the brand. Don't know if this helps.

The guy does great work. I was shocked this was the total price. He charges $50 an hour and he said the car would take 2.2 hours to complete. I thought it took longer than this but I might be wrong. If it takes him longer than what he says it should take he doesn’t charge you for the extra time:)

Then go for it!

2 hours to do the job is about right, sans wheel alignment.
