a ticket for tint if you are parked? what if no one is aorund your car, will you still get a ticket?

Ive seen it happen here in Illinois. I got one quite a few years back on my SHO while it was parked in the street for tints.

Any good recommended alignment places in Chicagoland? They were unable to get the lowered car on their alignment machine due to it being an older machine.

Yes, that looks 1000 times better!!!

I have a guy I use off of 1st ave and 47th in Brookfield. Mechanic friend with own shop and can get my lowered LS on the lift. He got my wheels pretty close to spec. I dont have uneven tire wear anymore which is well worth the money to get it done.

That made a huge difference and it looks like you still have plenty of clearance. How is the ride quality compared to what it was?

NEXT mod

Get that front plate off the bumper and tuck it underneath using 2 L brackets like I have on mine. I have my plates on with small wing nuts and can take it off and on in 30 seconds.

Look close under my front bumper and you will see two small L brackets hanging down in the middle. That is where Ihang the plate off of. I also cut my plate down shorter right underneath the lettering just to make the plate smaller but still visable.

I might have to hit you up for a little help with that. I'll take a trip to Naperville :)

no problem, the shop I do all my mods at is right behind JV automotive where Im referring you to get your alignment done.

I'm scheduled for Friday 10am. Will you be around?

I would like to come by but I will be at work. Im going to plan a Great Lakes Dragway meet so maybe we can all go meet up there soon. Let me know how it goes.
