so i got a nice fat check in the mail yesterday so it's time to blow it on new stuff.

here's the list of what i want to add for my 03' black ls
-Hoen Xenonmatch Fog Light Bulbs

-Eibach Pro-Kit Springs

-K&N 57 Series Aircharger Intake Kit

-2004-06 Lincoln LSE Grille

a] are those all good products or would you guys suggest something else? i'm getting these products from the lskoncepts website.

b] with some mechanical skills do you think i'd be able to do all these on ym own?

..foglights seems easy as well as the grille. intake looks also looks easy, just screwing something on but the lowering springs looks like quite a job.

c] my real question is how many hours would it take to put on the springs + how difficult is it to do it VERSUS how much would it cost for a mechanic to do it for me? i do know somebody that could probably give me a deal if i asked them put them on my ls.

intake an hid s are easy springs are a bitch and youll need a hand but i did it in the street with handtools and a cheap ass commpresor but ive never messed with my grille

The grill is pretty easy. Eibach makes great springs but would be weary about installing springs without giving consideration to the impact on camber/tire wear and the shocks. If you install them wait about a week or two and then have the alignment checked and see how close to spec the numbers are.

You could end up having to buy tires more frequently if you can't keep a close to spec alignment.

HAHAHAHAHA I didn't pay enough attention and I thought you said "so i got a nice fat chick..."

Anyway, grill is an easy install, so are the lights (just make sure you don't break the fog light housing or touch the bulb itself). K&N is a bit more involved but not much. Springs might be a different story for you; depends on the tools you have and your ability. You have to take the weight off the entire front or back depending on which end you're doing, removed the shock/spring assembly, disassemble it (spring compressor required), reassemble it (correctly) and reinstall.

Well I started my new job in November and I'm getting a check back as well! Granted mine's for $90, but still... maybe I'll get exhaust tips haha.

All those products are good, and they're all DIY jobs with the possible exeption of the springs, but I install for those average $300 and up. It's your call, I would at least have someone who knows what they are doing help you out, and make sure you don't *need* to be anywhere for a couple of hours
