Few Pics of the Eclipse AVN 6600 just installed over the weekend. Paired up with 2 sets of Infiniti Kappa 6x8 in the doors. Sorry for the glare!

Also, I hate the damn coils on this car. Had the Stealership replace them & the valve cover gaskets with parts I got from Team Ford, cause the Valve Covers were a bit much & I didnt have the patience.. Day, I get the car back after replacing #3 & #8 coil, I have another misfire, not 5 miles from the dealership. Took it back to them, troubleshoot it again, found #4 bad.. They R2'd it, only charging me for the cost of the coil, which was a nice break.

Also, I was installed some new interior lights in the door panels & I broke the housing that sits in the door panel & holds the bulb & the lens.. Well, now the lens wont stay put & only way to get one new is to order a whole new door panel. So I was wondering if anyone had one possibly or know of a place I could get one? Picture below! Sorry for quality, only had Cell phone.

I feel ya on the coils. I have an '05 which i wouldnt think would be getting misfires. Already had three replaced, its at the dealer now with a #7 misfire and possible leaking gasket. I have 230 miles left on my bumper/bumper warranty. I couldnt believe my ears though, my service advisor called me and asked if there was anything other issues i wanted addressed before the warranty ran out. How many dealers do think do that? Other than the coils i couldnt think of anything to have them check.

I really like the look of that install.....what did you do to get such a clean factory look?

nice nice nice i love the setup thats my setup :) you stole it from me. naw but i really like i get my car out friday so thats how mines would look i bought the kit from lskoncepts with the matching paint. but good job.

You'll love that Eclipse...just wondering why your installer didn't flush mount it? Was that your preference? Maybe it's just the angle.

I took it to a place out here in Lincoln NE & they cut up a double din kit & re-fiber glassed & painted it to match. Even did a little lip at the bottom. Looks a lot better than I expected to be honest, which Im glad.

I like it, not exactly the most user friendly. Glad they by-passed the Emergancy Brake for me. In the top 2 pictures I actually have they screen tilted out. The installer left it out maybe 1/4", which I have no problem with.

As far as that light goes, did just the red and clear plastic cover tabs break off. If thats the case use some gorilla glue and glue it back on. mine did the same thing over a year ago and its held fine.

hey macoffutt did your auto shop install the speed sensor and the reverse on your eclipse avn6600?

If you mean Speed Sensor as in does the Eclipse Unit have the ability to track my speed like a speedo, than yes. And, Im not sure what you mean by the *reverse*.

im saying did the auto shop for you install the vss wire i need to know what color wire is the vss on the ls. because my shop is saying they couldnt find the right wire so they didnt hook it up on my car so i might be a lil off on my nav with the accuracy.

ok so you really dont know if they used the vss wire or not. i mean they say it would still work good but if i go under a tunnel or something then it might throw me off a little bit. thats all i was wondering.
